How long does it take manufacture and ship a mattress?

Normally we have several sizes in stock. Our most popular mattress is the organic cotton/organic wool standard mattress. Should you desire anything different, we have a turnaround time of 2-3 weeks, but we try and get it out sooner! Shipping is usually 5-7 days in the lower 48, but it does depend upon where is it going. Shipping furniture may take 3-4 weeks due to production issues.

Please note you must inspect the shipment prior to signing anything. If the drive must leave you can sign "pending futher inspection". If you sign for the items without inspection and there is damage you will have great difficulty filing a claim for damage.

How do you ship mattresses?

We ship them freight or common carrier. We have had good luck with our sturdy cardboard boxes and shipping. We can also ship UPS with the twin and latex mattresses. In addition, we can ship freight common carrier (please note this will take some time).

How do you ship furniture?

Beds and wooden things (items that are not upholstered) are shipped common carrier freight unless the customer wants us to ship them common carrier. We often ship LTL, but can ship truck loads to certain areas.

Risk of Loss with Freight Shipping

All items are shipped FOB Fredericktown, Ohio. In other words, all items purchased from A Natural Home are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

It is your responsibility to inspect the goods and note ANY and ALL damages before your inspect. Once it leaves 43019 we are not responsible for any damages or claims. We will give you all info for shipping tracking, claims info, etc but it is up to the end consumer to note any damages. We will go over this with you with your invoice and over the phone.

If you need in home set up that is a flat $150 more and must be prearranged

Can I return a mattress?

Yes, you can return a mattress during a 10-day period. You will be responsible for full shipping back to us, and shipping of your replacement mattress. Again, you are responsible for all shipping incurred with any exchanges.

What are your return policies?

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy, we will be happy to exchange your item(s) for another, minus the shipping. Custom orders, food, and hygiene/cosmetic products not returnable. All fabric items which are cut from bolt when ordered, are not returnable or refundable. Return of orders will be accepted up to 15 days after receipt of product, provided RMA is given. Returns will not be accepted without a RMA.

We ship USPS and UPS, whichever is most cost effective. Air, next day etc are all extra and will be billed accordingly.

Shipping of orders is from OH. We will try to make your order processing as smooth as possible.

If an item is returned we will happily give you store credit. We do not make refunds. We give you store credit less the shipping.

Returned Checks:

Any returned checks for any reason (insufficient funds, etc.), that party will incur a min. of $25 additional charge plus any legal fees that may be involved.
